The USB Type C to HDMI cable doesn’t work with my cellphpone / laptop.

1. Not all the USB-C cellphone / laptop / tablet is compatible with the cable. The hdmi to usb c cable requires your USB-C host device must support DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4, otherwise, it will NOT work.

2. It does NOT support iPhone.

The cable disconnects frequently.

1. Keep the cable connected stable and tighten. Don’t move the cable, laptop and monitor during using.

2. Take off your cellphone case.

My USB-C laptop supports DP Alt Mode but the item still doesn’t work.

1. Please make sure that you have chosen the correct HDMI input source.

2. Update the BIOS and graphic card driver from your laptop’s official website, then restart your laptop to try again.

3. Set the laptop’s resolution as 1080P or lower.

Is the USBC to HDMI cable bi-directional?

No, our c to hdmi cord is Unidirectional. It only transfers signal from USB C laptop to HDMI monitor. Please do NOT connect PC to PC or PC to cellphone!!!

I can't charge my cellphone with the cord.

Kindly note that the hdmi to usb-c cable does NOT support charging. It is intended to mirror or extend your cell phone's screen content to larger screen.

I've been struggling after my M1 Mac Mini purchase to expand my display to two screens.

Most of the reviews from tech sites and bloggers suggested expensive docks and addon devices.

I found this instead and decided to give it a shot.

It works great. I've been using it for couple weeks now. The primary display is connected via this cable and the secondary is connected via direct HDMI.

Note: I have noticed a few random times when I wake my Mac after few hours away that the display gets all fuzzy and shaky. And then in 30 seconds it comes back to normal. I don't know if it's related to the cable, but it's a small tradeoff for the cost effective option to have two displays without an expensive dock. 5 stars from me.

Did not work with iPad Pro 2021 (M1 chip, USB C thunderbolt). Tried forever to connect it to ZTE projector. No luck. Then tried with Epson projector, no luck. The support is nonexistent and there's no return. You're basically stuck with a faulty product. Worked with Amazon to get the refund. Overall very poor product and lack of support makes it even worse. Each connection kept showing the error of no signal. Total waste of time.

Great product!
I used to use a Dock for connecting my MacBook Pro to the external monitor via HDMI cable. I also used to connect the external keyboard, mouse also via the same dock.
I guess, the dock wasn't able to take all that up and the monitor screen used to flicker randomly.
Hence I bought this cable for connecting the Monitor directly from laptop to external monitor. And it works like a charm. I use to dock for connecting other accessories.
No more irritation from random screen flickering. Thanks to this type C to HDMI cable. Must have for all Mac users.

A great little cable for my laptop!

I have an ASUS laptop (TUF506LI-DB71-CA) and the GPU states it can use three displays. The usb-c port functions as a thunderbolt display port, and I wanted to use the port as a 3rd additional display (on top of the actual laptop display and the HDMI port).
Works like a charm, and now I can multitask even more than I did before with two displays. No lag, no issues, beautiful crisp resolution on my monitor.

A perfect addition for working from home and online college classes as I often have many windows open for references, reading materials, tools etc (currently studying in computer sciences so multitasking is a must!)

Would definitely recommend for anyone whose usb-c port and GPU is compatible for this type of thing.
